Travel differently and develop your photographic eye

A photo trip off the beaten track to discover the oases and their inhabitants and allow you to take magnificent photos.

The tours are designed for all photographers, from beginners to advanced, who want to improve their travel photography skills.

You’ll photograph to the rhythm of the light, as the trip is totally adapted to your needs, whether early in the morning or in the evening at sunset, you’ll be in the right place at the right time to satisfy your photographic desires, in enchanting landscapes.

There will be time each day to review and comment on the images. A professional photographer and a certified Moroccan guide will accompany you throughout the trip.

Throughout your stay, you’ll be given technical advice on shooting, with the aim of familiarizing you with your camera’s manual mode and mastering it by the end of the trip (exposure metering, aperture/shutter speed, iso….).

The following photo themes will be addressed:

  • Architecture (details, finding the right angle, Kasbahs, villages… etc)
  • Medinas and street scenes (fast, unobtrusive shots)
  • Landscapes (framing, photo composition, use of different focal lengths)
  • Moods and lighting (interior, backlighting, chiaroscuro)
  • Sunsets and magical skies
  • We’d be delighted to hear about any other topics you’d like to discuss.

A walk that combines the discovery of sumptuous landscapes and encounters with local people, crafts, markets, souks, etc. You’ll be dazzled by the diversity and richness of Morocco.

At the end of the trip, you’ll have produced a series of photos, in reportage mode, expressing your sensibility, and you’ll have developed your photographic eye through previously unpublished shots. We can also help you produce a photo book on your return to France.

The portrait

The portrait

Shooting-balades offers photo sessions dedicated entirely to your portrait and your image during a lovely stroll through the heart of the capital. Whether for a personal or professional project, artistic or for pleasure, each portrait will be captured to highlight what makes you unique.

Whether you’re comfortable or a little shy in front of the lens, I’ll accompany you with a smile to help you reveal your style, whether you want to boost your personal image, your professional portfolio or simply to offer you an unforgettable experience.

An individual portrait photo is more than an image: it’s a statement, reflecting your personality. Dare to think outside the box for a portrait that reflects your personality. It’s your expressions, whether raw or stylish, your gaze, your inspirations of the moment, that will form the details for magnificent photos!

During an appointment, we’ll define together one or more locations that correspond to your tastes, and above all where you’ll feel at ease to develop your inspirations for unique, authentic and elegant portraits.

Photo shoots and portrait sessions are always carried out in natural light, preferably in fine weather, during themed or non-themed walks in the capital, off the beaten track or, if you prefer, in front of emblematic monuments.

The choice of outfits and colors will also be important in styling your photos. Accessories such as hats, caps and scarves will give your photos a personalized touch and highlight your personality. No fixed poses, everything is fluid and I’ll guide you so that you can reconnect with your image, your style, for a rendering that reflects you.

So don’t wait any longer to treat yourself to this moment just for you!

Today, Shooting-balades has taken a stroll through the picturesque village of Montmartre in Paris and offers you a romantic photo shoot in the steep cobbled streets of the hilltop.

The off-the-beaten-track Montmartre district offers a unique backdrop for a charming stroll through its colorful houses, small cafés, vineyards and famous Château des Brouillards for unforgettable photos!

A photo shoot is also an opportunity to discover a little-known area of Paris in complete serenity, during a stroll accompanied by a professional photographer who will immortalize your precious memories. Enjoy a moment of peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the capital.

If we look back at the history of Montmartre, which has become the bohemian district that everyone loves, it begins in the 1860s, when the Butte was annexed to Paris.

Before 1860, Montmartre was a rural district. Following Baron Haussmann’s major construction projects, poor Parisians were driven out of the center of the city. They took refuge in what was to become the Maquis de Montmartre. In those days, housing consisted of wooden shacks – a village of bric-a-brac, where sardine cans were used as locks!

Emile Zola’s “L’Assommoir” aptly describes the “Butte Montmartre” of the time, with its filthy houses and the unsanitary living conditions of its inhabitants.

Aside from Sacré-Coeur, the hilltop also offers a number of unusual and romantic shooting spots, which we’ll discover together on our photo walk.
